Tournament will be USCF rated, accordingly registration with USCF is a must. To register visit uschess.org and follow the join/renew tab.
The tournament will last up to 5 hours, however many players will be finished by 2:30. Parents may feel free to stay on watch from specified sections.
Please remember to bring a snack!
*Number of rounds and game duration may be subject to slight alterations depending on section size.

In four USCF rated sections: K-3, K-5, K-8, & K-12 (Sections may be combined for pairing purposes, if necessary.)
USCF & SCCA memberships required for the above sections (SCCA memberships for S.C. residents only;not required for out-of-state players). (Available on site or online at “uschess.org”.)
SPECIAL NON-RATED BEGINNERS SECTION: 4 rounds Game/30mins. Open to beginning players. No USCF membership required (Any scholastic players new to the USCF tournament play is eligible for this section.) (Does not count toward Grand Prix.) Special Entry fee: $15 Prize for top finisher is free one year USCF membership.

After four rounds and many close games Jack Rhiel finished in clear 1st winning all his games.
Jack Hotchkiss, Dalton Sparrow, Cole Johnson, and Nathan Phillips were all part of a massive tie for 2nd scoring 3 wins out of 4 games.
